"I support this cause!"
"Nice job! My friend."
"Sending 2021 best wishes 👊🏽👊🏾"
South Bronx Community (SBC) has served more than 400 students since we opened our doors in 2016. Your support and belief in our cause has enabled us to develop this program which has provided students mentorship, peer support, college exposure and international service learning experiences. We believe it has been a critical linchpin in the success of our first graduating class - 84% graduated on time, 96% applied and were accepted to college. In a district where only 66% of students graduate high school in 4 years, we know our program is working!
We're launching the 2020 End of Year Giving Campaign to support our Rites of Passage Programming with a focus on relationship building. This program fosters deep relationships between students and adult mentors that support them through their entire high school trajectory and beyond. This program allows our students to experience a deeper understanding of the world and of themselves and provide critical mental health support during this uncertain time. The image above is from a group mentoring session where young women discussed how they grow stronger through overcoming obstacles.
We are asking our key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support SBC's Rites of Passage Programming. By becoming a fundraiser, you will help our students, and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good.
We'll give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help, we can reach our $25,000 campaign goal by January 1st!
