At South Bronx Community (SBC) High School, we are more than just a school—we are a community dedicated to preparing our students for success in college, career, and life. Our mission is to empower students to become leaders who thrive in an ever-changing world. The Rites of Passage program plays a pivotal role in this vision by providing students with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and community-building experiences.
The Rites of Passage program supports students throughout their high school journey, focusing on identity development, positive peer relationships, and leadership skills. Your donation will directly contribute to these transformative experiences:
- $50: Supports incoming freshmen with our Summer Bridge program, helping them build relationships and a strong sense of belonging as they enter high school.
- $100: Sends rising sophomores on an overnight camping trip, where they develop leadership skills and learn the importance of teamwork and resilience.
- $250: Helps rising juniors attend their first college tour, giving them the opportunity to explore various campuses and find the right college "fit" for their future.
- $500: Provides rising seniors with the chance to participate in international service-learning and cultural immersion, expanding their worldview while giving back to the community.
